Marketing Executive

We’re on the hunt for a talented Marketing Executive to play a key role in the creative and dynamic marketing function within Boojum. You’ll be a passionate marketer with existing experience who is keen to work with a market leading brand. You have your finger on the pulse of the latest social media trends and are comfortable copywriting and developing creative ideas for campaigns and content, whilst being highly organised and a confident communicator.

This opportunity will be particularly suited to a proactive, enthusiastic, social savvy marketer who likes to have fun and enjoys a varied role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Marketing Manager and Marketing Lead in the development and delivery of marketing activity and campaigns
  • Contribute to the wider Boojum brand and marketing strategy
  • Work as part of a highly collaborative, cross functional team
  • Briefing and coordinating the design of creative asset requirements
  • Own Boojum social media content planning, creation and scheduling
  • Liaise with external agencies and suppliers in the development and delivery of marketing campaigns
  • Creating and updating website content including blog posts
  • Liaising with internal departments/stakeholders to ensure communications are accurate and delivered to agreed timelines
  • Manage internal comms to Boojum store estate to support marketing campaigns and initiatives and act as main point of contact for store marketing asset requests
  • Manage the creation of monthly internal newsletter
  • Update spreadsheets and inventories with statistical, financial and stockkeeping data
  • Keep up to date with new trends in the hospitality, design and social media industries
  • Manage and maintain department asset libraries (Google Suite)
  • Undertake administrative duties to support department function

About You

  • Strong sense of ownership & great work ethic

  • Strong communication, listening and problem-solving skills
  • Social media savvy and knows what’s hot and not on each platform
  • Detail oriented with excellent proofing skills
  • Able to articulate ideas and concepts well
  • Comfortable working both within a team environment and independently
  • An ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines, while maintaining a high standard of work

Essential Criteria

  • 1+ years marketing experience in-house or within an agency
  • Creative thinker with an eye for design
  • Ability to prioritise workload and solve problems
  • Consistently high levels of attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills

Desirable Criteria:

  • Third level qualification in a relevant subject
  • Experience managing brand social media accounts
  • Experience or interest in social media video creation
  • Experience of paid digital advertising and ecommerce eg. Paid Social, Display Marketing, Shopify, Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of email marketing platforms and strategies
  • Experience of the hospitality industry
