Junior Designer

Whitenoise is looking for an ambitious and talented junior designer to join our brand team. Whitenoise works with companies across the UK, Ireland and the globe in a variety of sectors including finance, logistics, tech, culture, education, food and drink. This position offers the candidate an opportunity to play a key role in successfully meeting the creative and strategic needs of our clients, whilst working in a fun, relaxed and supportive environment.

You will be 1-2 years into your career with an exciting portfolio which showcases your best work across brand development, ad campaign creative, literature production and retail / environmental branding. In evidence of the above, we want to see a great CV with full education and work history and references and a portfolio showcasing your best work.

As a leader in workplace wellbeing, Whitenoise is currently trialling a four day working week, which, if successful, will be permanently adopted and be the normal working pattern for this role.


  • Attending client briefings and presentations
  • Working independantly and collaboratively on design projects
  • Producing creative campaign ideas
  • Noting and accounting time expenditure against project deadlines
  • Liaising with our production manager to ensure printers and other suppliers quality standards are maintained


  • At least 1 year studio / agency experience
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating a passion for design with excellent typographic and layout skills
  • Be highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Attention to detail with good verbal and written skills
  • Be a good team player but also self-motivated
  • Manage projects from concept stage through to final artwork
  • Have an awareness of how brands extend into digital platforms
